Hospital Housekeeper

Description

We're looking for a reliable and caring Hospital Housekeeper to join our Coryell Health team. In this role, you'll help create a clean, comfortable, and safe space for our patients, visitors, and staff-making a real difference in people's daily experience at our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
• Dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, according to regulations
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and linens
• Operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, etc.)
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
