Part Time Housekeeping/Laundry Aide – Wilkesboro Health & Rehab

Wilkesboro Health & Rehab is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and resident comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces following infection control protocols.
• Operate industrial washers and dryers; sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry and housekeeping equipment.
• Ensure proper labeling and return of residents’ personal laundry.
• Adhere to OSHA and facility safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper chemical handling.
• Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming, and mopping as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services within a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a sanitary environment.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
