Housekeeping

Overview

Onin Staffing is currently recruiting a General Cleaner/Housekeeper for a client facility in Mebane, NC. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across a large facility that includes manufacturing, warehouse, and corporate office spaces.

• Monday-Friday: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Some Sundays as needed.
• Pay rate: $13.00/hour.
• Opportunity to work in a clean, organized, and well-lit facility.

What You'll Do as a Houskeeper:

• Dusting and mopping bathrooms (16 total), breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Cleaning throughout the manufacturing floor, warehouse, and corporate offices.
• Walking the blue line on production/warehouse floors to:
  • Sweep floors
  • Clean yellow guardrails
• Emptying all trash throughout the facility.
  • Dumpsters are located just outside the building and accessed through the warehouse.
• Picking up trash in the parking lot (well-lit during evening hours).
• Lifting up to 25 lbs (primarily boxes of product).

Skills and Experience

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience.
• Experience stripping, waxing, and buffing floors (highly preferred).
• Bilingual candidates preferred (team is primarily Spanish-speaking).
• Self-motivated, able to stay on task, and willing to work independently.
• Ability to pass a background check (no issues within the last 7 years).
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
