HR & Safety Coordinator
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:000 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Environment: 100% On-Site
Position Overview
An established organization is seeking an HR & Safety Coordinator to support human resources operations while overseeing workplace safety initiatives. This role will partner with leadership to ensure compliance with HR policies and safety regulations while promoting a safe, productive work environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, onboarding, and HR documentation
• Maintain confidential employee records and ensure HR compliance with company policies
• Assist with recruiting coordination, new hire onboarding, and employee offboarding
• Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and support needs
• Coordinate and maintain workplace safety programs and safety training initiatives
• Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
• Investigate and document workplace incidents, accidents, and safety concerns
• Assist with safety audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
• Partner with leadership to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Safety, or a related field
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Basic Microsoft Office and Excel skills required
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
