Summary:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Generalist, the Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and project support to the Human Resources team. This role supports key HR functions including onboarding, compliance, reporting, and internal HR initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate the new-hire onboarding experience by preparing materials, conducting orientation sessions, and following up with new employees.
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including event planning and special projects.
- Input, maintain, and audit accurate employee data in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Compile, generate, and distribute various HR reports as needed.
- Maintain and organize associate personnel files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and distribute incoming HR mail and correspondence.
- Answer phones and greet visitors in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or a combination of HR and professional experience in a customer-service-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to assess organizational needs and respond proactively.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High-energy, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic with a desire to grow professionally within Human Resources or Recruiting.
Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
