HVAC/R Technician and Installer

Hvac/R Installation Technician

We are looking to expand our hvac/r installation team. Our facilities department provides support to our shops, rental properties and district staff. The right candidate will work well under pressure in a team environment and be solutions focused. A company vehicle and tools/gauges are provided. This position is based out of our corporate office in ballston spa, ny.

responsibilities:

• installation and maintenance of walk-in refrigeration units.
• troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair self-contained refrigerated equipment.

requirements:

• minimum of 5 years experience in service and installation.
• experience with hvac systems.
• epa universal certificate.
• vocational or tech training preferred.
• electric and plumbing experience preferred.
• must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
• possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• ability to travel to job sites – company vehicle provided.
• occasional overnight travel and on-call responsibility.
