About the Role

Were looking for a detail-oriented Import Export Coordinator to support and manage daily international shipping and trade compliance activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all import/export operations meet U.S. regulatory requirements while keeping shipments moving efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate import and export shipments in compliance with U.S. Customs and trade regulations
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation including commercial invoices, export manifests, and regulatory filings
  • Verify HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classifications and country of origin for accuracy
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records within inventory and compliance systems
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting, including export summaries and compliance tracking
  • Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments
  • Monitor shipment timelines, resolve delays, and ensure documentation aligns with export declarations
  • Assist with trade compliance audits, corrections, and SOP documentation
  • Support continuous improvement of compliance processes and procedures

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in import/export, trade compliance, or logistics
  • Working knowledge of U.S. export regulations, CBP requirements, and ACE portal
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience with bonded shipments/movements preferred
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP or Descartes is a plus

Work Environment

  • Primary office location in Surprise, AZ
  • Regular travel required to Casa Grande, AZ (mileage reimbursed + travel incentives)

  • Competitive hourly pay: $22$25/hour (DOE)
