Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for finding, negotiating, and booking inbound freight for the asset fleet
• Set up and maintain contracts, including credit checks, and work with drivers to establish Hours of Service, work constraints, and communicate with the Dispatch manager on total fleet continuity
• Track drivers to make sure schedules are adhered to and communicate with Brokers
• Effectively collaborate with Customer Service and other internal operational groups
• Coordinate pickups for customers, track Owner/Operator pay, and load money on cards for lumpers
• Handle various data entry tasks and be familiar with Hours of Service and driver schedules
• Held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST

Requirements

1+ year experience in the transportation industry

Excellent coordinating skills in order to handle multiple logistics responsibilities

Attention to detail for data entry, record-keeping and counting incoming parcels

Strong negotiating skills

Excellent customer service

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
