We are growing in our Manufacturing Department. We are looking for Injection Mold Machine Operators. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that thrive in a fast-paced environment. The best candidates will be self-motivated, eager to achieve goals, and keep a quick pace in their work. No experience required: paid on the job training! Machine Operator Pay: $17.50 / hour

Machine Operator Shift:

• 1st Shift Monday- Friday: 6am-2pm
• 3rd Shift Sunday – Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Machine Operator Job Description:

• Sets up and operates blow molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications: Turns valves to start flow of water and release air pressure to machine.
• Moves machine controls to set timing unit and temperature of heating unit and start automatic feed mechanism.
• Adjusts machine mandrel and aligns mandrel with mold chamber, using wrenches.
• Starts molding machine that automatically feeds material from mixing unit to mandrel and to mold chamber.
• Closes chamber to mold product under heat and pressure.
• Removes workpiece from mold after timing device opens mold, and trims excess material from workpiece, using knife or bandsaw.
• Regrinds excess material and unsatisfactory workpiece for reuse, using grinding machine.
• May weigh completed workpiece to determine accuracy of machine operation.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• No diploma / GED needed
• Must have reliable transportation (not on bus route).
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Subject to a background and drug screening process.
