Help

Responsible for thorough implementation of the government Quality Assurance (QA) Program, conducting meetings, review of quality control plans and procedures and assessments of contractor performance through regular field surveillance

Assures that requirements developed in 3-phase inspections comply with contract documents and are incorporated into the work and takes necessary steps to resolve deficiencies

Performs construction tasks in accordance with District Project Management Business Process matrices for Military Construction, environmental, and civil works projects, Resident Engineer's Management Guide, and Construction Division policy

Obtains timely and cost-effective projects through proper contract administration in accordance with contract requirements and Resident Office policies and procedures

Review and analyze proposals submitted by contractors, installation personnel, and Using Agencies for changes to contract plans and specifications and prepare findings of fact on which contract modifications may be based

Daily logs, correspondence, progress reports, etc), participate in conferences and perform negotiations with contractors for the settlement and/or resolution of disputes over contract requirements, alleged changed field conditions, etc.

Monitor funds available on contracts and contract line items and advise project personnel on same
