INTL – India – SOX Compliance Auditor

A large chemical manufacturing company is looking for an IT SOX Compliance Auditor to join their team. We are looking for an experience ITGC Internals Control Specialist who posses a deep expertise in ITGC design, testing, remediation, and has hands on experience with SAP systems. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Ownership of these external relationships and partnerships are very important so communication skills, both written and verbal are key. Some responsibilities will include:
- Lead the design, implementation and ongoing assessment of IT General Controls
- Perform and oversee ITGC testing including user management, change management, IT operation controls.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, supporting audit requests, walkthroughs and evidence submission.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to strengthen environments

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in ITGC, IT audit or internal controls.
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and ITGC frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, etc.
- Strong experience working with external auditors.
- Extensive experience with SAP systems
- Deep understanding of access controls and SoD, change management processes, IT operations controls

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- External Auditor role
- CISA, CPA, CIA or equivalent certifications
- Experience in finance, accounting, etc
