Job Description

Plans, develops, and manages the worldwide Inventory Compliance Program, performing on-site policy compliance assessments at Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs) across the globe.

Identifies discrepancies affecting auditability, outlines required corrective actions and provides diligent follow-up to ensure resolutions are implemented effectively.

Conducts in-depth analytical studies covering bulk and ground fuel products to identify areas with high potential for process improvement, utilizing automated systems.

Performs worldwide, regional, and DFSP-specific trend analysis and random sampling to identify systemic issues and guide corrective actions.

Provides robust data analysis for various reports, responds to data requests from multiple sources, and develops key metrics for review by senior management.

Prepares and presents detailed briefings on findings, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership within DLA Energy and stakeholder organizations.

Serves as a leading expert on DLA Energy Policies, DoD Manual 4140.25, and inventory accountability processes, interpreting broad and often non-specific policy guidance to apply to complex, real-world scenarios.

Participates in policy reviews, providing knowledgeable input to develop, clarify, and enhance DLA Energy and DoD-wide inventory policies used by all service components.
