Job Level: Business Operations-B3

Ensure accuracy of area inventory

Responsible for completing cycle counts in area of responsibility on frequency as required by Inventory Control document standards

Works with leaders in area to complete product destructions, where applicable

As the SME for inventory related functions, may be asked to assist Associates in completing transactions

Reviews SAP and JDA transactions and reports to provide operational direction

Communicates with Inventory Controller for inventory discrepancy direction

May be responsible for inventory management of ingredients, packaging, work in process and donor items or some combination

May be required to back up other Inventory Control Clerks based on workload, vacations or other needs

Ensure proper orchestration of Inventory Management systems in area including:

SAP inventory, waste, & re-work transactions

1st level of support for EDI communication troubleshooting

Expert functional support for timely and accurate resolution of SAP COGI transaction errors in their area.

May perform Data Key User & Inventory Control Key User roles at a site

May perform SAP Production implementation and maintenance role at the site.

Works with Inventory Controller to ensure timely resolution of area COGI log

Works with Continuous Improvement/Operations

Functional expert in inventory control procedures for a given area

Able to pull inventory transaction documents as needed for continuous improvement initiatives

Is proactive in initiating improvements in functional area

Assures data and procedures are consistent with documented standards

Must learn and be proficient in SAP/JDA and any applicable software as well as Microsoft Excel functions.

Identify system performance issues and resolve or escalate accordingly.

Possess effective interpersonal and team working communication skills.

Possess effective speaking, writing, listening, and presentation skills. Communicate well to all levels.

Able to assume other duties as assigned from management.
