Role & Responsibilities: The Inventory Coordinator I is responsible for ensuring inventories are maintained and can support planned production and shipping operations to meet customer requirements. The Inventory Coordinator will report to the Warehouse Management Team.
Basic duties that will be performed:
- Performs cycle counts in a perpetual inventory environment for both Finished Goods and WIP (. This will include blind counts, A-Z and with goal to deliver 99.5% accuracy.
- Analyze, research, reconcile, and process all inventory discrepancies/adjustments from cycle counts in a timely manner.
- Review inventory adjustments daily in WMS (ROSS/SAP) and perform RCA by reviewing relevant transactions.
- Maintains inventory accuracy by making data entries in accordance with established procedures for damage, over/under consumption or misplaced products
- Participate in customer and year-end inventory audits and support other UNC locations.
- Provide backup for other inventory control personnel as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates included Pallet reconciliation.
- Will be responsible for reporting cycle count results daily, weekly and Monthly to warehouse management.
- Ensure timely processing of daily receipts and alert Procurement to any variances to intended inventory transfers or purchases and close purchase orders or STO's
- Work with Corp distribution team to reconcile variances between NCD and any UNC Plants or 3rd Party warehouse.
- Execute local validation of raw material and ingredient coverage of Firm Production jobs 3 days out. Alert Production and Procurement and support issue resolution efforts.
- Development of Chill Capacity reporting process (daily and weekly). Will be required to work with cross functional teams (production, warehouse and QA) to define capacity process of current and future processes.
Physical Demands:
- Majority of time spent in a Cooler and Warehouse environment. Ability to operate standard office equipment (phone, fax, computer) as well as bend, reach and lift is required. Must be capable of driving a fork truck to move materials as needed. Must be able to operate scissor lifts and/or cherry picker lifts. Must be able to see, hear, sit, stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 55lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED and a minimum of one-year inventory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to Detail
Preferred Skills:
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with RFD Scanning equipment

Pay: $21-$24 per hour*
