Description
PGS Worldwide is seeking an Inventory/Materials Technician in Orlando, Florida for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports the E&T department stockroom by managing aerospace engineering components and supplies. The role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and organizing materials while maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting daily material movement needs.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management or a related field
- Excellent manual and clerical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license
- Safety shoes required
What You'll Do
- Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of components and engineering supplies
- Maintain accurate stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Organize and optimize stock storage areas
- Manage overstock and distribute controlled stock items
- Maintain Engineering Drawing Bill of Materials part kitting
- Operate a company vehicle to transport metal finishing requests to local suppliers
- Move palletized equipment to various locations
- Support day-to-day stockroom operations in a production-focused environment
