Inventory Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and optimize inventory control across warehouses, project sites, and supply chain operations in Texas. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock tracking, efficient material flow, and proper coordination between procurement, construction, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouses and job sites
- Track incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, and supplies
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
- Maintain inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems
- Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure material availability
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Organize and optimize warehouse storage for efficiency and safety
- Identify inventory discrepancies and resolve variances promptly
- Prepare inventory reports, usage summaries, and forecasting data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Preferred:
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial supply environments
- Forklift certification or warehouse safety training
- Familiarity with large-scale project inventory tracking
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
