Janitorial Cleaner/Recycler (Downtown – 1st Shift)

NSG, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Janitorial Cleaner/Recycling Utility Associate to support an office facility in Cincinnati, OH. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits

• $16.50 per hour
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Benefits are available after 90-days of employment.

Employment Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Key Responsibilities
Work Order & Request Support

• Receive and accept service requests as they are dispatched
• Report to the front desk or designated office with any questions or concerns regarding requests
• Complete assigned requests in a timely manner
• Properly close out requests by marking them completed in the system

Trash, Recycling & Compost Handling

• Check trash and recycling collection areas daily
• Separate trash, recycling, and compost into appropriate containers
• Ensure materials collected throughout the building are properly disposed of
• Empty confidential and non-confidential recycling containers in copy rooms and common areas
• Collect and transport cardboard to designated recycling or baling areas
• Monitor recycling and cardboard collection areas and service them at least every other day
• Properly secure confidential recycling containers after emptying
• Perform weekly compost container collection and return them to designated areas
• Notify management of any issues or missed pickups

Mixed Recycling

• Sort bagged items to separate mixed recyclables (paper, plastic, glass, aluminum, etc.)
• Place separated materials into designated recycling containers
