Laborer 1 – Seasonal (37.5 hrs. wk.)

The City of Rahway, Department of Public Works is recruiting Seasonal Laborer 1 (April - December). Hours are Mon - Fri, 6 am - 1:30 pm or 7 am - 2:30 pm. Duties include a variety of routine, repetitive, noncomplex labor tasks which involve cleaning and maintenance of public properties, cutting grass, snow removal, recycling and solid waste collection and other duties outlined in and not limited to the Civil Service Commission title Laborer 1 (https://info.csc.nj.gov/jobspec/02248.htm ). Job qualifications are to follow directions - both oral and written; and to lift heavy objects continuously under varying weather conditions.
