Maintenance Crew Member
The maintenance crew members are responsible for providing a weekly maintenance service along with a maintenance crew leader. A maintenance crew member performs the necessary tasks to provide the best garden maintenance service effectively and professionally. This includes, but is not limited to: mowing, edging, pruning, bed monitoring, and blowing.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Monitoring mowing, blowing, edging, pruning, and beds
- Replanting and pruning vineyards
- Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. for small jobs
- Applying granular chemicals after proper training
- Understanding basic fertilizer application techniques
- Having general knowledge of irrigation
- Identifying frequently used plants, common weeds, and pests
- Ensuring customer requests are communicated to the maintenance team leader
- Being responsible for truck inventory
- Identifying broken, improperly operated, or misused equipment
- Knowing and being able to use the following tools and equipment:
- Navigator
- 36"
- 21"
- Herbivore
- Trimmer
- Long Hedge Trimmers
- Short Hedge Trimmers
- Blowing Machine

- Carefully maintain tools to avoid loss or misuse

- Complete and submit any documentation in a timely manner
- Report all accidents and personal injuries
