Lead Laundry Technician (Full Time)

Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and energetic Lead Laundry Technician to join our talented team. This position requires working a weekend rotation and holidays as necessary.

Reporting to the EVS Manager, this position is responsible for (but not limited to) coordinating and organizing activities of Laundry Technicians to guarantee that all instructions and assignments are followed.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Washing, drying and ironing the linen of the facility
  • Collaborating directly with the EVS Manager and EVS Supervisor to handle all laundry duties and efficient operation of the Laundry department.
  • Leading all laundry department meetings with EVS Manager and Supervisor to assist all staff with efficiently completing tasks.
  • Maintenance of linens of the facility in clean, sanitary, and presentable condition.
  • Meeting with Assistant Director of EVS and the Care Center staff on a regular basis to ensure linen is well stocked and used efficiently on all floors

Our desired candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a lead EVS or Laundry role in a health care setting – preferably within a continuing care retirement community is strongly preferred. Experience and a strong desire to work with older adults is crucial.
