Job Title: Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator

Compensation: $75 – 83K + Bonus

Keys to Job: Must have payroll work experience in a large sized company approximately 1,500 or more employees or at least 500 million to 1 billion or more annual revenue. Must have at least 7 or more years payroll experience; Preferred industry work experience would be medical, healthcare, non-profit or entertainment are all a big plus but not a must. A degree is a plus but not a must. 7 + years of payroll processing experience; Multi-State payroll experience is a must; a minimum of 5 years of experience working with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Vantage; Experience with company/workforce of 2,000 + employees; Must have regulatory experience. The position has standard Mon - Fri work hours, must be in office this is not a remote or hybrid position.
Job Description
Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator
The Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator upholds a commitment to precision in data management and the punctual execution of payroll cycles, ensuring full compliance with pertinent laws and the company's internal protocols. In this capacity, the individual will oversee and carry out all required processes to support effective payroll management. Responsibilities encompass processing payroll for up to 3,000 team members, including handling garnishments, managing multi-state payroll requirements, reviewing personnel action forms, preparing and sharing payroll summaries, and collaborating extensively with the Human Resources division.
The ideal Candidate must be strong and proficiency in both spoken and written communication is essential, as the role involves advising supervisors, staff, and external parties like oversight agencies and service providers. Situated in a vibrant urban hub as part of the team, this position collaborates closely with payroll colleagues, company personnel, official entities, examiners, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot concerns and furnish required data. By promoting uninterrupted payroll functions, the Lead Multi-State Payroll Administrator II bolsters the department's success and the broader goals of the organization.
