Assembler Job

An assembler's job is to put parts together to create a finished product. They use hand tools, machines, and blueprints to ensure that parts are aligned and fit correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Use hand tools and machines to assemble parts
• Position and align parts using hoists or manually
• Maintain equipment and conveyors
• Perform basic repairs
• Inventory tools, parts, and supplies
• Check products for quality and uniform completion
• Resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor
• Maintain logs, records, and reports
• Collaborate with other employees on the assembly line

Skills and requirements:

• Strong eye-hand coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to a certain weight
• Ability to work with a wide variety of part sizes and weights
• Extensive dexterity and hand, wrist, and arm movement
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Basic arithmetic skill
