Lung Care Navigator
The Lung Care Navigator manages the daily operation and workflow of the Low Dose CT Lung Screening Program (LDCT). Performs basic nursing skills, patient navigation, and data management largely in the outpatient setting, with a focus on enhancing both the patient experience and the quality of medical care provided by the Lung Program.
The Lung Care Navigator will focus on navigating patients with lung nodules, lung cancer or those at high risk for lung cancer, tobacco addiction, and related problems. Works with referring physician offices to manage follow up testing. Manages all aspects of the CT Lung database including data entry, statistical reporting. Performs program quality assessment.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Nursing Diploma minimum requirement and a minimum of 1 year in Nursing experience, required Oncology experience highly preferred
Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse in PA - Licensed, Upon hire, required Basic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
