Maintenance Co-Op (High School)

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Co-op to join our Maintenance team! In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in an industrial work environment. Working alongside skilled maintenance professionals you will gain skills to work on one of kind machines and insights into preventative maintenance techniques. Location: On-site in Mt. Vernon, Indiana

Your Day to Day as a Maintenance Co-op:

• Assist the maintenance department with the following:
• Routine preventative maintenance
• Planned projects
• Reactive maintenance calls
• Work independently based on instructions, directions, or requests from supervisor or project lead.
• Observe and comply with safety procedures and policies.
• Able to participate as collaborative team member.
• Able to operate forklifts, scissor lifts and other equipment found in an industrial work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of three semesters of vocational training
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
