Job Title: Maintenance Technician I
Job Type: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Day Shift (may vary based on facility needs)
Pay Rate: $DOE (Based on Experience)
Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to support the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of facility equipment, systems, and physical structures. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on machinery, equipment, and building systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Install and repair fixtures such as water heaters, furnaces, and related equipment
  • Dismantle defective equipment and replace or repair components as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
  • Maintain facility structures including painting, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors
  • Document work orders and maintenance activities accurately
  • Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, welding, or mechanical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Basic computer skills for work order tracking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and walking
  • Ability to work in various indoor/outdoor conditions

Pay Details: $25.83 to $35.84 per hour
