Maintenance Technician

We are seeking Maintenance Technicians for 3rd shift for our Huntington, Indiana Plant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot; diagnose; and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Utilize maintenance system for creating and completing work orders.
- Control downtime by informing operation workers of routine preventative maintenance and operation techniques and monitor compliance.
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment preventative maintenance.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines without exception.
- Carry out maintenance process per supervisor instructions expeditiously and perform tasks in a professional manner.
- Support work flows, effective layout, and optimum process conditions.
- Provide P.M. for facilities equipment and production equipment.
- Suggest modifications and improvements to PM.
- Accurately document time and materials on PM forms or work order.
- Determine possible maintenance problems, identify, and repair.
- Monitor equipment performance. Notify supervision of deviations to normal speeds.
- Review production fixtures and provide input.
- Review and provide input on new facility equipment.
- Support cost savings programs for the manufacturing site.
- Support housekeeping programs for the manufacturing site.
Requirements:
- Must have Journeyman's card or at least five years of experience and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
