We are looking for a part-time Marina Crew memberto help us in delivering award-winning customer service and creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers. This position will assist the Service Manager in ensuring the success of the Marina at our Meredith property.
Job Summary:
The Marina Crew member will report to the Service Manager and assist in a wide range of marina operations. In this position, you will be part of a team that supports the seamless service we provide to our marina customers. This role is designed for a versatile employee who can assist in multiple operational areas including boat transport, detailing, yard operations, snow removal, and general boat repair and maintenance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Transport boats to and from various locations using trucks and trailers.
• Assist with boat detailing, cleaning, and preparation.
• Move boats within the yard using marina equipment.
• Assist with boat maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Support general yard operations including organizing equipment and maintaining clean work areas.
• Assist with launching, hauling, and staging boats.
• Perform snow removal around storage buildings, boats, and walkways during the winter season.
• Operate and maintain marina vehicles and equipment.
• Assist other departments as needed to support daily marina operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license, required.
• Clean driving record, required.
• Experience operating trucks, trailers, or marina equipment preferred.
• Mechanical or boat repair experience preferred.
• Ability to perform a wide range of physical and outdoor tasks.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and work for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Salary:
$22-$24 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule:
• Monday-Friday + Weekends during peak season (5 days per week).
• Monday-Friday during off-peak season.
• Flexible schedule depending on operational needs.
