Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Material Handler workers for a fabric building/medical manufacturing company in Fairhaven, MN. In this role, you’ll support daily production needs, help keep materials moving efficiently, and contribute to a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Location: Fairhaven, MN

Compensation: $20.00–$22.50 per hour – paid weekly

Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Thursday

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:

• Load and unload materials
• Weld GMAC, steel, and aluminum components
• Prepare materials for shipment to construction sites
• Move items from receiving/production to designated storage areas
• Record quantities of materials received or distributed
• Sort and store items on racks, shelves, or in bins
• Safely operate forklifts and power tools

What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Reliable transportation to the Fairhaven, MN area
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
• Willingness to cross-train within the plant
