In this position, you will be responsible for pulling parts, cycle counting, assembly, testing and inspecting replacement parts for aircraft.  This includes building fuel pumps, and a variety of other replacement parts for general aviation aircraft.  The role requires efficient, courteous internal customer service and the ability to read, understand and follow engineering drawings. Position works with general fabrication and assembly tasks that vary in complexity and variety while using hand tools and light machinery.

 Essential duties include: 

  • Kitting Parts for open job orders
  • Inventory Control, cycle counting
  • Assisting the Repair Station
  • Responsible for producing safe, quality products
  • Complete job orders according to quality manual, production specifications and drawings
  • Build and test assemblies
  • Perform equipment setup, operation, and minor preventative maintenance tasks
  • Identify problems and find solutions by troubleshooting issues
  • Work as a team to coordinate back orders, scheduling, and prep work
  • Keep work areas clean and tools and supplies organized
  • Inspect for quality in all aspects of different products
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented with organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment
  • Read, analyze, and interpret written instructions and drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Solid computer skills
  • Work easily and skillfully with your hands, dexterity of hand mobility
  • Team player who is willing to assist other departments during lag times
  • Able to measure and understand using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Good motor skills and ability to do fine assembly
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn

Physical Requirements

  • In this position you must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • While performing the duties of this job, you must be able to repeatedly work with your hands, bend, lift, twist, crouch, reach, push and pull
  • Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance
