Material Handler Mid Shift

Material Handler: Orangeville, Illinois

Our customer in Orangeville, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Material Handlers to work full-time on mid shift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for warehouse material handling and managing the flow of materials to support production operations.

Responsibilities of the Material Handler:

• Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or long reach trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems.
• Ensure materials are properly stored and organized for easy accessibility.
• Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely manner.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve material-related issues efficiently.

Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Long Reach Truck experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Experience in warehouse or food production environments preferred.

Pay for Material Handler: $20.00-$22.00/hour (depending on experience).
