Description
Purpose/Scope:
This position is responsible for distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production and preparing field materials and supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks as needed, including field related items
- Confirm and accept material deliveries
- Store stock items
- Pull, Deliver, and Prepare material orders
- Assist on Inventory Cycle Counts
- Sort, segregate, and stage items per designated location
- Support the Inventory Control position as a back-up
- Maintain clean work areas- i.e. all areas where material is stored- including trailers
- Pick-up all debris, pallets, banding, etc. daily.
- Perform other duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- Forklift Training Certificate
- Knowledge of logistics of site
- Knowledge of materials used and maintained on site
- Well organized with data entry capabilities
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to work flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience operating a forklift
- Familiarity with Fabcon parts
- Understanding of Inventory Control (i.e. functions, importance, accuracy)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 55 lbs.
- Able to work in various types of climate
- Must be able to adapt to flexible work hours and ever-changing schedule to meet deadlines
- Operate on uneven work surfaces (e.g. gravel, dirt)
Work Environment:
- Work is both inside and outside in different weather
