Medical Assistant

Gulfstream Staffing has recently partnered with a rapidly growing dermatology organization. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Certified Medical Assistant opportunity traveling in Spartanburg, SC. The Medical Assistant will assist the provider in the delivery of quality care to patients related to the performance of surgical procedures.

Position: CertifiedMedical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant Location: Spartanburg, SC

Certified Medical Assistant Duties:

• Assisting physician in providing quality care to patients
• Maintain patients' medical records and reviewing medical history
• Call in prescriptions
• Perform patient call backs
• Screening patients and employees daily upon entry
• Checking patients In and Out

Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• CMA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational program preferred
• At least one year of Surgical experience preferred; Dermatology experience preferred
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
• CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within 4 weeks of employment
