Position Summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides individualized, patient-centered care using age-appropriate skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient clinical operations and delivering a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized care to patients across the lifespan
• Support licensed nursing staff in clinical and patient care activities
• Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and basic clinical procedures
• Promote a welcoming, professional environment for patients and families
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting or completion of a medical assistant training program (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

Certifications & Licensure

• Medical Assistant certification (required)
