Job Overview: Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers' needs. We are currently looking for dump truck drivers in Clearfield, PA. This is a seasonal, full-time opportunity running primarily from May through September/October, offering 40–60 hours per week. Drivers receive additional overtime after 8 hours per day on top of weekly overtime after 40 hours. Although the role is seasonal, your benefits remain active year-round, ensuring continuous coverage even during the off-season. You may also be eligible for unemployment benefits during the winter months, providing additional financial support until the next season begins. This position will start in May 2026.
Main Responsibilities
- Pickup and deliver materials to jobsites in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate vehicles according to the DOT and company's safety standards.
- Carries out standard upkeep and minor repairs of vehicle in accordance with the company's environmental guidelines and regulations.
- Notifies their supervisor in the event of anomalies.
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
- Work varying shifts and hours dependent on job demands.
Experience & Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class B CDL.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain.
- Frequent exposure to loud noise.
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles, exposure to high temperatures.
- Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals.
- Occasional travel with overnight stays away from home may be required.
