Overview
The Mortgage Loan Processor assists the mortgage loan officers with the processing of mortgage applications and loans.
Responsibilities
- Interview loan applicants, when necessary; review and process all mortgage loan
- Obtain any documentation needed from member for processing
- Distribute necessary disclosures to applying
- Verify applicant information including employment, salary, liabilities, and deposits
- Review credit report to ensure credit worthiness aligns with White Eagle and
mortgage purchaser - Calculate and provide loan estimates for closing costs
- Order title work, flood determinations, hazard binders and
- Ensure department files are maintained and within company Track recorded
mortgages/assignments and final title policies - Assist with phone calls directed to the department and finish to completion if
possible or direct to the correct person - Develop an understanding of the credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws,and operations
- Assist in all other areas of the job to ensure proper department
- Serve as a notary
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate (or equivalent). BA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent mathematical and statistical aptitude.
- Two years of experience in mortgage processing is preferred.

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $31.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
