Night Auditor

Responsibilities

Canyon Ranch is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This role is responsible for completing nightly financial audits, preparing reports, and supporting guest services during overnight hours.

What You'll Do:

  • Calculate and updates guest ledger balances, posts charges, adjustments, and settlements to guest and house accounts.
  • Review each shift audit from the hotel and spa departments.
  • Ensure overnight guest needs are met by fulfilling those requests.
  • Be a problem solver when things go wrong or need repair. Help solve guest problems or relocate a guest to another room if needed.
  • Update guest information on the communications systems to provide early risers timely information such as a Yoga class or morning walk activities.
  • Serve as a Guest Services Representative, PBX Operator and Bellperson as required, (i.e., settling guest accounts, answering the phones).
  • Provides guest services in the absence of normally assigned staff.
  • You will run reports and distribute them as directed, based on the days activities.
Qualifications

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • 1+ years of Hospitality front desk operations required. Previous night audit experience will be very helpful.
  • Opera Property Management system preferred.
  • Understanding of maintenance issues to assist with minor room issues. Excellent communication skills.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge.
