Summary: The purpose of the One to One Observer is to provide personal constant observation of a patient. This position will also communicate with and support healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s). This position will also maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
- Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
- Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
- Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
Must have strong communication skills. Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Training/Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $21.33 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
