Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist during procedures including bracket placement, wire changes, and adjustments.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for orthodontic procedures.
  • Take orthodontic records such as impressions, photos, and radiographs.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, and treatment expectations.
  • Maintain infection control standards and ensure operatories are clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Active dental assisting license required.
  • Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and travel between locations if needed.
