Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures including bracket placement, wire changes, and adjustments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for orthodontic procedures.
- Take orthodontic records such as impressions, photos, and radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, braces care, and treatment expectations.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure operatories are clean and organized.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Active dental assisting license required.
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and travel between locations if needed.
