Forklift Operator (Sit-Down) - Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely to move, locate, stack, and load/unload materials within the warehouse or facility.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and pallets to designated storage or staging areas.
• Perform daily equipment inspections (pre- and post-shift) to ensure the forklift is in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders based on pick lists, RF scanners, or work instructions.
• Verify product quantities, item numbers, and packaging to ensure order accuracy.
• Assist with wrapping, labeling, and staging orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while securing loads properly to prevent shifting or damage.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status, inventory discrepancies, or equipment issues.
• Support general warehouse operations, including manual handling when needed.
