Make a positive impact this summer as a 1:1 Teacher Aide or Teacher Assistant, supporting students in a vibrant summer program setting. These contract roles offer rewarding hands-on experience working closely with students who benefit from individualized attention, all within a welcoming and engaging environment near Corning, NY. Scheduled from July 6, 2026, through August 14, 2026, you'll enjoy a Monday-Friday summer schedule (8:00 am to 2:00 pm), totaling approximately 27.5 hours each week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active New York State License/Certificate required for Teacher Assistants
• Prior 1:1 experience supporting students in educational settings highly preferred
• Experience as a Paraprofessional or in similar school-based roles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full program dates
• Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students with compassion and patience

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with a student, providing tailored academic and behavioral support
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and modifications
• Support students in daily activities and encourage their personal growth
• Reinforce classroom expectations and foster a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and communicate observations to appropriate staff
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of assigned student at all times
