Cafeteria Janitor/Dishwasher Job Description

1. Performs duties assigned by the manager in relation to receiving and storing food/supplies; efficient rotation of food/supplies; cleaning kitchen, dish room and dining room; cleaning and sanitizing equipment; trash removal and disposal; cleaning and disinfecting of bodily fluid spills.
2. Unloads the dishwasher and places dishes in their proper place.
3. Adheres to work procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent; must pass a current criminal background check and current child abuse registry check; ability and willingness to follow instructions, both written and oral; must have reliable transportation; ability to perform moderate physical work, efficiently, with continuous standing and frequent lifting.

Desirable Qualifications:

Child Nutrition experience and a willingness to work in any situation.
