Job Description:
- Form and lead project/Kaizen teams
- Advise appropriate disciplines on issues that affect productivity, quality, cost, and safety
- Engineering, Quality Control disciplines and Component Manufacturing for the Automotive Industry
- Tests, trains, and troubleshoots system for customer, providing initial level of support for assigned product
- Generate interest of site and paying customers in additional products and services offered by MS Companies
- Responsible for timely entry of time and expenses in project accounting system
- Responsible for timely creation of Project Activity reports to paying customer
- Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources and monitor the performance of project tasks
- Understand lean principles
- Excellent communicator to the site and paying customers
Job Requirements:
- Mobility and enthusiasm for taking on longer assignments
- Manufacturing experience as a supervisor or higher level of Management
- Hands on experience in operations management, plant management, process engineering, quality systems or continuous improvement
- A clear understanding of the issues related to production, quality system improvement, reliability-centered maintenance, and the application of Kaizen
- Proven experience and front-line management exposure specifically in relation to operational performance improvement
- Open to regional travel
- Able to take direction from the paying customer
- Act as a Liaison between the paying customer and the site customer to remedy issues
