Job Description:

  • Form and lead project/Kaizen teams
  • Advise appropriate disciplines on issues that affect productivity, quality, cost, and safety
  • Engineering, Quality Control disciplines and Component Manufacturing for the Automotive Industry
  • Tests, trains, and troubleshoots system for customer, providing initial level of support for assigned product
  • Generate interest of site and paying customers in additional products and services offered by MS Companies
  • Responsible for timely entry of time and expenses in project accounting system
  • Responsible for timely creation of Project Activity reports to paying customer
  • Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources and monitor the performance of project tasks
  • Understand lean principles
  • Excellent communicator to the site and paying customers

Job Requirements:

  • Mobility and enthusiasm for taking on longer assignments
  • Manufacturing experience as a supervisor or higher level of Management
  • Hands on experience in operations management, plant management, process engineering, quality systems or continuous improvement
  • A clear understanding of the issues related to production, quality system improvement, reliability-centered maintenance, and the application of Kaizen
  • Proven experience and front-line management exposure specifically in relation to operational performance improvement
  • Open to regional travel
  • Able to take direction from the paying customer
  • Act as a Liaison between the paying customer and the site customer to remedy issues
