Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit organization located in Milton, MA seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to join their team.
About the Organization Seeking a Part-Time Payroll Specialist:
- Founded over 100 years ago, this education group offers a variety of programs
- The staff and faculty have low student ratios to increase impact and connection
- They have several new initiatives for 2026 including expanding their reach for neurodivergent students, and working more in-depth with international students
- Hybrid working environment, estimated 24 hours/week with one day in office
Responsibilities of the Part-Time Payroll Specialist:
- Process payroll on a weekly basis for 250+ employees
- Maintain employee information in ADP
- Educate employees on time sheet submittal and managers on approval
- Create payroll and employee compensation reports as requested
Background Expected of the Part-Time Payroll Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent (+4 years)
- 2+ years of experience in a payroll role that includes hourly workers
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or nonprofit industry experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work a part-time schedule of ~24 hours/week with at least one day in office
Hourly rate, depending on experience:
$25.00 - 30.00
