Job Summary
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in University City is seeking a dedicated and organized Part-time School Secretary for the 2026-2027 school year. Our Lady of Lourdes is a vibrant and growing Catholic school community serving over 300 students in Preschool through 8th Grade. We are committed to fostering academic excellence, faith formation, and the development of the whole child in a welcoming and collaborative environment.
The Part-time School Secretary serves as the primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors and plays a key role in the daily operations of the school. The successful candidate will be highly organized, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. This position works closely with the Principal, faculty, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
• Provide front office support, including greeting visitors and managing phone and email communication
• Maintain student records, attendance, and confidential files
• Assist with student registration, admissions, and withdrawal processes
• Support school communications, scheduling, and recordkeeping
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Principal and faculty
• Manage office supplies and general office operations
• Administer basic first aid and medication in accordance with school policy
• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively
• Prior administrative or school office experience preferred
• Commitment to Catholic education and support of faith-based environment
