Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Lake Success, NY 11042
On-site position (non-remote, office setting)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Collect copayments and ensure accurate payment documentation
Update and verify patient registration and demographic information
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of clinical and/or administrative experience
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy office environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous healthcare experience
Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Experience using Epic EMR is highly preferred
