Job Description

  • Multi-state payroll processing: bi-weekly and monthly for USA, wage reporting, taxing, benefit plan deductions.
  • Adhere to FSLA regulations, SOX controls.
  • Utilize Workday, ADP Vantage, ADP Report Writer, ADP Smart Compliance.
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT or CoPilot) to draft communications.
  • Review and verify payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with payroll reporting and provide support for audits and reconciliations.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to ensure alignment on payroll processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Associate should have:

  • 3+ years of multi-state US payroll and tax experience.
  • Strong understanding of FSLA, SOX, basic accounting principles.
  • Systems: Workday and ADP, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes in the financial services industry.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data and records.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively address employee inquiries.
