Step into an impactful role supporting elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. With an immediate start and the potential to extend through the extended school year (ESY), you'll collaborate with school teams to provide compensatory services and make a real difference in a child's educational journey.

You will predominantly serve an elementary caseload, working onsite from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm with a 20-minute lunch break. The position involves traveling between two schools within a 15-minute drive of each other. Your expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, whether as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA, will contribute significantly to student progress and success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings
  • Strong ability to manage elementary student caseloads
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between sites as scheduled

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compensatory speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and develop targeted treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate records
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
