University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aid to provide exceptional support and assistance to our clients in Fort Gratiot Township, MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life while maintaining their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Provide companionship and support to promote emotional well-being
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties related to client care
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field is an asset, but NOT required
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is an asset
• Background check clearance
