PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER!!
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent client in the McHenry area within the manufacturing industry.
We are seeking a friendly and passionate individual to join our great team as a Production Assembler. A charismatic person who loves to be detail-oriented, organized, and punctual, and who works in an industrial environment.
Production Assembler Shifts:
1 st Shift: M-F 6:30am-3pm.-$15-$17 DOE
2nd Shift: M-F 3pm -11:30p.m. .-$16-$18 DOE
3rd Shift: Sun Th-9:30pm-6am .-$17-$19 DOE
4 th Shift: W-Sat 6am-4:30pm .-$17-$19 DOE
5th Shift: W-Sat 5pm-3:30 a.m. .-$18-$20 DOE
Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will be evaluated at 30, 60 & 90 days. If they are doing well, they will receive a pay raise
All Full-Time Temporary employees must be able to work overtime when
needed.
A tour is required before starting
PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per shift.
- Need to be able to work overtime.
- Must be able to read, understand, and speak English at a 5th-grade level.
- A High School Diploma is not required.
- No Jewelry, Makeup, Fake lashes/nails are allowed to be worn on the floor.
PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assemble and inspect pumps, subassemblies, kits and components on and off production lines
- following verbal and written department procedures, work aids, work orders, work instructions,
- operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedure manuals ("Instructions")
- Meet or exceed the minimum required production rate
- Meet or exceed the required quality level following the Instructions
- Rotate through positions according to the work schedule
- Count, label and box pumps, kits and assemblies for inventory or shipment following
- Instructions
- All employees are responsible for regular and reliable attendance. The company will schedule
- a minimum of 40 hours per week; based on business demand, overtime may be required up to
- ten hours per shift and 60 hours per week maximum
- Complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Follows all Company rules and regulations, including health and safety rules
- Regular, reliable performance of all job duties
- Performs all other duties as assigned or as may be required from time to time
PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER EDUCATION and CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Assembly experience preferred
LANGUAGE/REASONING SKILLS
- Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English
EQUIPMENT/TOOLS USED (examples, not a complete list)
- May use various production machines with mechanical or electronic controls
PROTECTIVE PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
- Hairnet, lab coat, eye protection, gloves, closed-toe shoes, no jewelry, no make-up
