Production Operator

Position Summary

This position is required to load and unload certain raw materials and blend and package finished product.

Essential Responsibilities
• Follow all company, state and federal safety policies
• Unloading and loading trucks and rail cars
• Understand product labels and names
• Maintaining equipment in good condition and reporting any defects to maintenance
• Ability to follow manufacturing procedures with precision
• Complete proper documentation
• Warehouse cleanliness
• Responsible for attending all company training, when required
• Proper PPE at all times
• Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is correct;

o Confirming seal numbers

o Confirming BOL

o Confirming Customer/Supplier
• Ensure proper labeling is affixed to finished product
• Comply with all company policies, including worksite safety and food safety
• Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices outlined by the company
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills required to perform this position:
• Knowledge of SDS
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
• Ability to understand follow Food Safety & Quality Policies and Procedures

Licenses or Certificates:
• Forklift certification

Explanation of Physical Demands:
• Proper PPE at all times
• Stacking bags and jugs onto pallets
• Climbing on and off forklift
• Handling packaged products
